For the beginning of the fiber lessons, we started creating papers from scraps. This led to further investigation about crafting with paper and its unique properties. We followed the BauHaus technique to cut, score, and fold the paper to create 3d shapes. For my personal design, I tried making a heart sparkle orb thing.
find center of paper
draw the crosslines
design half the piece
use a light box to trace evenly (I used my laptop)
cut out everything but dont connect the cut at the center
fold up and down
add lighting to bring out shadows and new shapes!
