Dremel Idea Builder 3D Printer

Since it first came out, 3D printing became very popular. Now, this sophisticated technology is quickly becoming more accessible to users.Dremel’s goal is to simplify the entire 3D printing experience and with their 3D Idea Builder you can get an easy-to-use 3D printer for your home. This 3D printer is a size of a smaller microwave and weighs a bit more than 19 pounds. Unlike other 3D printers, this one has a pre-installed extruder.

Print with love

This project got my attention, because of the passion and good will of ‘The Impossible Labs’ and the impact to someone’s life.  So I decide to read more about this. The project were I’m talking about is ‘Project Daniel’. Project Daniel uses 3D printers to make prosthetic arms for children of war in South Sudan.

There have young children lost their arms in a war situation. The project want to give the children hope and independence back, and make their life worth it again. The Impossible Labs made worlds first prosthetic lab and they also have a training facility. The most beautiful thing for me is to see how easy it is with a 3Dprinter/ technology to make people happy and have their lives back. So technology impove Quality of Life even in South Sudan. This brings the children, in my opinion back to reality, be part of the society. They can play again, eat again, they don’t have the feeling to be a bother for the family. I wish I had enough skills to do one’s bit. Projects like this contribute my perfect world, because they improve peoples life.
