As a nerd, I have always dreamt of wanting of to own things that were straight from a novel or a comic book.. If it was a lightsaber, a keyblade or even a wand, it was always in my hand and forever in my dreams. that is of course until I bought a 3D printer.

It started with my friend Pali and talking about video games. We discussed many different types of games and wondered if they could exist. But as I got home and got to modeling, I found myself having a epiphany. I OWN A 3D PRINTER.

So I got to work and started researching on the various things to print. But as I started browsing the web, I found  marvelous. I couldn’t believe that there were a lot of  people who had the same idea. Then I realized  something. If  you own a 3D printer, you can create anything. From useful tools to fanatic items, the world was my oyster.  So with that, I continue to download templates and started to print.

Here are some of the things that I have printed out.

Yup. I am a fanboy of star wars and I have no shame. It was incredible to see these things being built layer by layer.  Here is a list things to make in the future:

I plan to make a lightsaber hilt before the next installation of the new Star Wars Movie hits the theater by Dec. 14 (that could be wrong).

I have been inactive on wordpress for a long time. It has occured to me that due to my busy schedule  that I dont have time for anything. I couldn’t binge watch my favorite tv shows,  didn’t get to watch the latest sport news, and I have been on social media to browse the latest gossip among my friends and families. Lately, I have been enslaved with the amount of hours of working at the State Healthcare Department as well as working part time at Best Buy. The only thing that I am able to fit in my schedule was the 2-hour gym session, a short lunch, and the occasional 11:30pm-2am binge watching and learning about 3D Printing.

Yes, 3D Printing. A hobby I found to distract me from my misery and lonesome life. With my job at the healthcare department has finally set sail, I have been dwelling into the world of 3D Printing.

It is an incredible hobby that a friend and I have invested in. I own both the M3D Micro 3D printer and the Printrbot Simple. the Micro is a miniature printer with a 4”x4”x4” (length – Width – Height) estimated volume build. the Printrbot Simple has a 6”x6”x6” volume build and it has been working non-stop. I have made several models such as a iPhone 6s phone dock, a macbook pro stand and a apple watch stand.

I find it very useful to have a 3D printer and just recently I have spoken to one of my co-workers at Best Buy, they want me to create a custom logo case. I said, “Sure” but I did however told them to wait a while since I am currently out of filament.

But once I get more by this week, you will expect a lot of projects coming my way. Expect a passive speaker Dock, a stormtrooper-inspired  iPhone 6s case, and my experimentation with other types of filament such as bamboo filament and pine filament, and carbon fiber filament (I have no idea what to make with carbon fiber). For right now I will end this on a high note. Thank you for reading

My unpredictable Hiatus and a Phenomenal Hobby I have been inactive on wordpress for a long time. It has occured to me that due to my busy schedule  that I dont have time for anything.
