Using Evernote - Day 1 “Best Day Ever"
Using Evernote – Day 1 “Best Day Ever”
Hello cruel world… Today, I found an incredible app today. The App is “Evernote” and I love using it. Before using Evernote, I had to copy my notes from my iPad and paste it onto my wordpress account as a draft before editing the notes on my laptop. I have heard of evernote from one of my favorite podcasts and I just had to test them out. I downloaded the app onto my laptop and my iPad and once…

Hello cruel world…
I found something on Thingiverse that was pretty cool. A mini phone studio. It is the same as a regular studio except it was scaled down a bit. You can use any phone (I used my iPhone 6s) as a recorder and flashlights for you light effects on your model. The more I look into this project the more I was drawn to make one…and so I did.

I had a good set up and I plan to make modifications such as making a bigger platform for larger objects as well as creating an adjustable phone stand.

The project however took a while since there were a lot of parts. But I do love the creators detailed instructions, especially when he includes a video on how to setup this project up.
Here is the link to the project on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1085472/#files

For now, I will bid you Adieu…
Mini Photo Studio Hello cruel world... I found something on Thingiverse that was pretty cool. A mini phone studio. It is the same as a regular studio except it was scaled down a bit.
Hello cruel world.
I have just received my batch of 3d Filaments today and i so excited to print. it was such a wonderful day setting up printer with the new filament and loading all my designs onto my software. But once I got everything prepared, I kinda had a dilemma on which color to use. It took a good 5 minutes to make up my and onceI did, I could figure out what I wanted to print. But as I started to withdraw from printing, my earphones popped out of the my ear and an idea came to my mind. why not print useful tools to organize my room. Which i did and here are some snapshots of the things I printed.
these two items are earphone holders. the first holder is designed for the apple earphones and the second holders can fit any minimal earbuds. I have stored my Sony Step-Up EX Series MDREX110AP/B earbud headphones. These holders make my bag lighter and easier to store. Plus it keeps me from having tantrum when I try to untangle them (first world problems).
The next 3 useful items that I will introduce where things that i could place on my desk at work. the First useful is a miniature vase (its useful!). I need a place to put all my loose change without make a ruckus. Originally, I would placed them in my drawers (like normal human beings) but the rollers on the side of my drawers were old and they would get stuck.
This would cause me apply pressure and the sound of change would blast in the office. Normally, I would call the maintenance team and They would come and fix my desk, but since my workplace was busy with clients and I would have to wait till office hours to have them fix this small issue, I thought to myself, I could just make something that would hold all my change. And tada, a vase was made. Its petty, I know. But it was also creative and I had fun making it for others in my other as well (future endorsements!!! Yay!).
The next 2 models were cellphone docks. The firs t Cellphone dock was my favorite since it looks like a stick man trying to hold my phone while doing a sit-up. It drew attention at work and eventually all of my fellow co-workers wanted to own one as well (this time it costs them a small fee :) ).
The third one is a minimal dock that had enough room for a cable to be added underneath the dock. I had an issue with this one since there was a gap in between the holders. But I guess it came out better than expected.
It was an exciting day for my and I can’t wait till the next batch of model to post.
For now… I will bid you Adieu…
3D useful items Hello cruel world. I have just received my batch of 3d Filaments today and i so excited to print.
As a nerd, I have always dreamt of wanting of to own things that were straight from a novel or a comic book.. If it was a lightsaber, a keyblade or even a wand, it was always in my hand and forever in my dreams. that is of course until I bought a 3D printer.
It started with my friend Pali and talking about video games. We discussed many different types of games and wondered if they could exist. But as I got home and got to modeling, I found myself having a epiphany. I OWN A 3D PRINTER.
So I got to work and started researching on the various things to print. But as I started browsing the web, I found marvelous. I couldn’t believe that there were a lot of people who had the same idea. Then I realized something. If you own a 3D printer, you can create anything. From useful tools to fanatic items, the world was my oyster. So with that, I continue to download templates and started to print.
Here are some of the things that I have printed out.
Yup. I am a fanboy of star wars and I have no shame. It was incredible to see these things being built layer by layer. Here is a list things to make in the future:
lightsaber
Darth Vader
kylo ren
buster blade
captain america shield
arc reactor
R2-D2
BB-8
I plan to make a lightsaber hilt before the next installation of the new Star Wars Movie hits the theater by Dec. 14 (that could be wrong).
If you have any suggestions on my next print, leave a comment down below and i will feature it on my next blog with your name mentioned.
As for now I bid you Adieu…
