ESSENTIAL MOM MOVEMENT SERIES: Exercise 2️⃣ . Here is a perfect example of a movement that really challenges my diastasis in upright function using my 6kg @viprpro . 🙋🏻‍♀️Lifting a stroller in and out of the car, putting a car seat into/ taking it out of the car, lifting/shifting a child into bed...are all movements that stress your abdominal wall and put pressure on your pelvic floor! . As moms, these movements are a part of our everyday! . @higabe2002 Thank you Gabriel for sharing this combo! . You can see the changes in my abdominal wall between the forward lunge with cylinder hold reach forward to Forward lunge with posterior tilt. Notice also how I look up to load the pelvic floor via the neck...cool huh! As @cmchristie1 teaches, the bladder is hung from your neck!!💁🏻‍♀️ . Like yesterday’s exercise, this is not step one for new moms. Your start unloaded and then add a gradual load along with proper breath pattern. . Enjoy this exercise today!
