epilogue and hsbc haters baffle me because did you guys know a story needs conflict or is that an entirely new concept to you, if they HAD lived happily ever after we wouldnt have *gotten* the epilogues or hsbc! they needed to tie loose ends that wouldnt be tied properly without a storyline - and for a story to be entertaining it needs conflict, otherwise every loose end could've just been a four panel comic like "dave marries jade, dave is sad, dave marries karkat, ok we good" you cant be mad at writters for writting thats what they do 💔 if you wanna read a happily ever after homestuck ending with fluff and boy sex you are very welcome to read a fanfiction? or write one? a concept thats been been around for decades

you are in no way obliged to read anything after homestuck, it was literally dubbed "dubiously canon" so people wouldnt feel obliged to read it, but getting mad about it is weird like, dont let the fact a story out there exists, bother you, there's worse things than a character being fascist in a story
