Bahbah draws on her own experiences of alienation as a woman of color, her childhood traumas and her journey to sobriety and self-love, and delivers an intimate, honest portrayal of a Western Arab millennial woman who is both complex and perfectly at peace with herself.

[deeeeep breaths] Okay, here it is... Introducing my latest series ‘3eib!’ pronounced “ay-ab” an Arabic word meaning ‘shame’ expressed with immense disapproval. A word that has frequently been used as a weapon to silence my voice, restrict my freedom and bury me with shame and guilt for having the desire to liberate my taboo thoughts, my sexuality and my body as an Arab woman. ‘3eib!’ is a re-adaption of every narrative series I’ve created and told however for the first time ever I am both artist and muse 🥺. It’s taken 28 years of life to get here, and I’m fucking terrified to be this exposed but I know I have to do this.
