I think one of the reasons the 3L3W stories are so satisfying is that it’s the best of both worlds: He fucks up in a MAJOR way where you think he’s never coming back from it. He, a beautiful powerful man who has no outside need to apologize, grovels and begs for forgiveness and she’s like “no fuck you you’re dead to me bye.”

Then it is revealed that for absurdly convoluted reasons, he was not at fault. He really did love her and was always faithful. It’s just fate and circumstances! And then they live happily ever after as a hot power couple.

I love the scene where Bai Fengjiu suggests divorce to Donghua Dijun. It's exquisitely painful, full of unspoken pain and mutual hopeless love.

She's exhausted. Beyond exhaustion, beyond heartbreak, beyond anger or hope or even blame. She did everything she could, gave all of herself, and it was not enough.

He knows this. He knows she's given all she could and he can't bring himself to ask more of her. At the same time, he sees what heartbreak has done to her. All her fire, her courage, her strength, her generosity of spirit, have all been exhausted. And he can't bear to listen to her describe a reality where she is not the most important person to him, where his life is just great without her, where her offer of a divorce is a relief to him.

        Ah! Thank you for the Yehua extra link (someone previously was looking for this specific extra translated). I know I have seen the “fan extras” that was translated by someone, which are not extras by Tang Qi herself but just part of a fan book of funnies and are easy to find. 

        If you click the link to the Peach Blossom’s Chinese version, you’ll find the listing for the extras by name, which two of them are obviously the Yehua extra you just linked us and the Bai Zhen and Zhe Yan one I linked to you yesterday. There actually isn’t anymore extras beyond the singular Pillowbook one that is about Gun Gun’s expectations vs reality of his father, which we’ll eventually find again.

       Sorry about the late response! Anyway, to answer your question - the only translated extra we’re ever found was the Dongfeng novella, which is linked on our pinned post. If we find links to any more of them, we’ll put them there. There is the Zhe Yan and Bai Zhen extra, which you can find here, that Admin Ro translated.
