Anyone juvenile handling a criminal casethat facing a possible jail sentence or fine greater than $500
Eligibility is determined by comparing financial condition to Federal Poverty Guideline
Intake:
You must apply at least ten (10) working days prior to your trial date.
You may apply at most OPD Offices, not just the County where you will go to court.
First interviewed by Intake Specialist and complete a written application
Will be asked to provide information about your income and assets.
Legal Aid:
Service is holistic – clients are referred to appropriate counseling, education, and community activities in addition to legal help.
