Okay. So. Yes. I *know* we see Kagome in priestess clothes in our like, 5 official post-reunion panels in the manga- but she ran to the well and jumped in without a bag! She didn't have anything and we always saw priestess garb available as spare clothes in the series, And kimono take a hot minute to put together...

All this to say I don't think Kagome would work as a priestess in a traditional/formal way in post-canon life. I think she'd want to be a more 'traditional' wife/mother and would need to spend a lot of time learning how to LIVE in the past, not just survive.
