How long is too long?

So, I recently adopted a 3 month old Corgi, and I’m a little confused about some things. During the day, he goes outside to use the bathroom(though he does still have accidents here and there). However, when he’s asleep at night, he doesn’t seem to want to go outside and use the bathroom. In fact, he’s been sleeping through the night most of the time. Doesn’t whine, paw at me or try to wake me up. I don’t know if it’s because of the cold weather at night or if he simply doesn’t need to go. I know that at 3 months, he should be going every three hours, however I’ve also been told not to wake him up if he is sleeping. Sometimes, I do wake him up to take him outside, but he just stares at me and them walks back inside. And, before you ask, I’am trying to crate train him, but he’s not really taking to that either.

Am I doing something wrong? Should I be waking him up? Should I let him sleep?

Any helpful advice would be really awesome, especially on the crate training.
