Fern Falls.
Standing here, I could feel the mist and cool air coming off the waterfall. It was just amazing.
Now that I’m back (and have regular access to this thing call the internet), I can post some more pictures.
This one is taken from my first day at Rocky Mountain. On a spot between the Cub Lake and Fern Lake Trails, I found a little spot on the rock and read for about and hour. If you don’t know, John Muir is considered one of the most influential people in the creation of our national parks, right up there with Teddy Roosevelt. And that’s some exalted company.
