Truly cannot believe I just had a one-way conversation with my dogs about how all I was trying to do here is rewatch SG1 and watch Sam get promoted from Captain to Major and watch General Hammond & Jack pin those oak leaves onto the shoulders of her uniform dress blues service dress coat and how I couldn’t do that bc they were barking like a bunch (three in this case) of idiots acting like there was some sort of incursion happening then (turned out it was just a larger than necessary FedEx truck delivering a pretty small box (to our front porch) that was vastly oversized for the one small thing inside it.

I was thinking to myself, “Damn! Y’all are acting like the Goa’uld were in front of our house rn about to turn us all into hosts and not just a FedEx truck delivering a package to the front door.

"Don't you dare lecture me, Mr. President, don't you dare do it." One of the best lines in this show. The combined anger and just fucking heartbreak in CJ's face; the way it freezes Jed in his tracks. How this comes right after she told him she'll resign and his first response was "yeah, okay" before he started lecturing her about the issues they still haven't fixed. Oh I love it.

Earlier, Abbey told Jed that he needed to reach out to the staff and at the start of this conversation with CJ he is absolutely not doing that. Until she yells this at him, and he sees firsthand what he's DONE to her, to the team, but oh to her. You can see her face after she says it, in disbelief that she did and also most likely thinking how easily that could be the end of her relationship with Jed Bartlet after everything she did for him. She resigned and now she yelled at him and that might be the last professional conversation they have.

And then he hits her with "I need you too" and oh her face. Her tiny tiny almost invisible smile. The way she THANKS him. The relief and the sudden return of determination to do this for him is beautiful. That's what she needed.

Toby bringing up that many experts actually advise patients with MS to hide the illness because of how misunderstood it is, is such an interesting thing for him to have looked up and remembered in general. But especially within the headcanon of Andy having a chronic illness she hasn't publicly talked about because of the stigma and misunderstanding associated with endometriosis as just some dramatics around bad periods? He's thinking about some things.
