5x3 CHALLENGE by way of Gary Montalbano​! Day 5 of 5 theme: Tentacles! Art Piece 2 of 3: Daughter of the Kraken For last years Winter Is Coming art show at the Ltd. Art Gallery​, presented by G.R.R.Martin himself. The exhibition was all A Song of Ice & Fire (you may know it Game of Thrones) themed artwork. This piece is based on Asha Greyjoy (know in the show as Yara). The background wave pattern was screenprinted in iron toned ink and most of the brown tones were painted with coffee.

5x3 CHALLENGE! Day 5 of 5 theme: Tentacles! Art Piece 1 of 3: The Reluctant Infiltrator. From the way way back in 2011, pretty soon after I started working with Coffee as a painting medium. Octopi/Octopuses/Octopodes are extremely intelligent so I figure it's only a matter of time before they start building androids to infiltrate us and steal our...,what do Octopuses like? I wanna say...fancy hats?
