John turns down a side street, filled with simple, single-story houses. They’re in a regular family neighborhood. John slows the car down and parks in front of a small brown house with red shutters. Dean squints in confusion.

“Dad, what’re we doing here?”

“The witch lives here. This is where Sam is”

“You mean Sam - Sam’s inside that house right there?”

Dean sees kids playing on the lawn next door and puts his gun inside his jacket. A few other kids are riding bikes in the street. Dean closes his eyes slowly, pinching the bridge of his nose.

“How are we supposed to do this, Dad?”

John hangs his head.

“Very fucking carefully, Dean”
