While sorting out the season 2 players, I was also trying to sort out the positions of the reserve team. Once again, many many MANY thanks to @orbitalpirate for help with that guide and the below one too!

But somehow ended up making a guide to the season 3 team formations?

Pre-Total Football they used a 4-2-4-1 formation (I believe). So it looked like:
