Someone pointed out that Thor really got nothing back, even after beating Thanos, and I can't stop thinking about how everything he did, all the trauma he fought through, was for his friends -- the same friends who have been treating him as useless and a joke because of his depression, PTSD, and body issues. And he still did it.

Just random street shots today in color and b&w. I really need the experience photographing people, but, with so few willing subjects in my life (🙄😁), I have to take my chances on the street when I can.(4.27.19)

Also I want to note that even though the movie treated him as a joke, I read Chris Hemsworth's portrayal of Thor as very emotional and sincere. If you just pay attention to him and not how other characters and the camera treat him, it's a heartbreaking performance that I think is really underrated

Something else that makes me sad for Thor is that, after feeling worthless all movie, he's elated when he realizes he's still worthy of wielding his precious Mjölnir, only for Captain America to be able to do the same thing later
