why was Tropical Rouge episode 22 so fantastic. The OST was incredible. The art and animation are the best they’ve ever been. All the cool developments happened. It was just great fun.

So a sibling is in the hospital for a mental health crisis (keeping it vague for their privacy). And my parents are actually being supportive and reacting appropriately.

Maid Dragon S episode 5 was an equal parts fascinating look into dragon society with action animation surpassing most shounen, as well as genuinely fucking heartwarming and endearing me so much to Tohru and Ilulu’s relationship.
Absolutely delightful girl, don’t know how you couldn’t love her.

Friend convinced me to re-pick up Sonny Boy. It’s fine I guess. Like, this show is interesting without a doubt - it’s creative and clearly set on creating actual characters in this continually developing setting and exploring its themes in actual depth. The Lord of the Flies feeling is basically gone already since it seems to like, not have a totally one-dimensional cynical view of it all. But idk it’s just not that entertaining to me. My favourite thing is hearing Aoi Yuuki play a different character than I’ve really heard from her, followed by the visuals, and then everything else is just kinda like, totally whatever to me. Maybe I’ll keep watching, I don’t know.
ending was more “not really that entertaining” than anything outright bad but I do gotta say I’m hotly anticipating EoE since those last 2 episodes did have uh, a lot missing I’ll say. Fucking fantastic show though, well lives up to its status.
