Manchester United legend David de Gea is set to play his 400th game tonight. He’s really come a long way since Day 1 huh
Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel has high praise for David de Gea, who is expected to pass Schmeichel’s 399-game mark with his 400th appearance on Thursday against Aston Villa. This is what he had to say:
“He’s been tremendous for us, there’s no doubt about that. He stuck it through in the most difficult period of modern-day Manchester United history.
“It’s been up and down and, basically, he has been our best player. There’s no doubt about that. Four out of five years being our Player of the Year. That just tells its own story about his performances for the club.”
He also has a theory as to how his performances haven’t been par as of late, stating that the change in the style of play may have impacted his performances:
“I think he needs a bit of time to adjust to the way we are playing. If you’re a goalkeeper that has been busy for three or four years, and now you’re not busy, you have to change your game a little bit.
“You need to find new ways of keeping your concentration, of staying with the game. Everyone has to adjust and I think that’s the same for him as well.”

Over 400 games discounted in Because We May sale
Android, iOS, Mac, Windows and Linux games
While the Because We May sale have commenced last Thursday there wasn’t an overwhelming number of games – just 60 in total at the time. The sale originated from the idea that indie game developers should be able to price their own games, plus give them some well deserved promotion. Five days later and the number of games available has exceeded 400.
Over 400 games, including Riptide GP, are discounted as part of the Because We May sale The games originate from many platforms including Android, iOS, Mac, Windows and Linux. Right now there are over 100 Android games and in excess of 250 iOS games discounted. This number is bound to grow significantly again before the sale ends on June 1st, so be sure to get in quick.
