mcytblr is just So Nice in ways that u don’t even notice because you’re just ‘?? isn’t that how it’s meant to work?’ until you open twitter and see people sending death threats to each other over their dsmp opinions and ‘oh you just made a tweet about how xyz character was wrong???? me and my 1000 mutuals will now quote retweet your post into oblivion and dogpile you and dig up dumb/contradicting tweets you made a year ago’. not saying that we do not have issues but that the way that replies and reblogs work on tumblr vs the way that qrts and replies work on twitter is different and one of those two platforms encourages and enables that behaviour and the other is more difficult
