日本人は総じて生き急いでると思う。高校卒業の何か月も前にAOで進学先を決め、大学卒業の1年前に就職先を決めて卒業前から仕事を学んでいる。この「生き急ぎ体質」は研究みたいに腰を据える学業とは猛烈に相性が悪いと思う。むしろ日本の研究の苦戦の最大の理由の一つではとさえ思う。
