i have yungy mutuals now and i’ve been looking through posts and blogs about him to try and get a better understanding, but i still need to learn about luigi. does he have any of sort of archive for streams not cross-streamed to youtube (even like moneysmp exclusive archives?) or am i doomed for that endeavor

Analysis of “The Hills” by The Weeknd.

I personally think this song is about emotional avoidance. It’s about someone who’s scared of getting too close, so he hides behind hookups, fame, and drugs because they’re easier than being emotionally vulnerable.

If no one gets too close, no one can hurt him. Since he thinks he’s protecting himself, he only ends up feeling more alone. He knows his choices are hurting both himself and the people around him, so he feels stuck repeating the same cycle.

“I’m just tryna live life for the moment.” This isn’t about enjoying life. Sometimes focusing on the moment is easier than dealing with your thoughts and your past. It’s less about being carefree and more about escaping your thoughts for a bit.

When he says “the hills have eyes,” I think he’s talking about more than just Hollywood. It’s the feeling that you’re always being watched by the people around you, but somehow you’re still completely alone. You can hide behind distractions or pleasures, but once everything gets quiet, you’re left alone and you can’t escape yourself.
