40k computer games update today
So not much of an update today
the steam sales going on tho :D Blood bowl Chaos edition is on sale, while not strictly a 40k game it is in the warhammer fantasy universe (which is the 40k universe but much earlier) and its good but the rules are rather obtuse and the game is certainly flawed but its still pretty enjoyable (also rumor has it that a blood bowl rule set update will be coming up later this year, i have no clue what that means for the game, but the game might get you interesting in the tabletop so up to you)
also Dawn of War 2 will probably show up sooner or later on a sale and it is the best 40k RTS. Personally i think it has the best singleplayer in any rts (especially the Chaos Rising expansion) and the elite mod for retribution (http://www.dawnofwar.info/index.html) keeps the multiplayer alive and well
aaaaaaand of course Space Marine will probably pop up as well. a good game, I really enjoyed the multiplayer (well the customization mainly) and the singleplayer is solid. Also I think the animation quality is truly amazing, as the weight and feel of the space marines seems just right, the animation deserves a medal or something
