My Birthday (02 dec. 2021)
My birthday is always especially emotional for me. Today it really got the better of me. I just have this expectation of things and they never turn out the way I hope.
This one was a big one. I am now 40. I just for once wanted to have a nice day. It hasn't turned out like that. There are many reasons why I am so angry, tired, and over it.
I have an unrealistic expectation of what today should've been. I want this day to be something it'll never be. I let myself down. I just really am fucking annoyed with everyone and everything. That is okay to feel. I will process this and move on. I have to because I can only really count on myself at the end of the day.
This is the last year I am bothering with my birthday. I am done celebrating something that only makes me sad.
