The Distance Between Us
When children outgrow their home and adults feel that they have gone as far as they can go. There is an inevitable distance between people, hopes and dreams. In my work 'The Distance Between Us' I have tried to capture this transition within my own immediate family, my husband and my two grown-up children. I feel there are many layers to each picture. At this time in my life I feel we are standing at the top of the hill, and preparing to walk slowly down the other side.
