ACTIVITY FIVE - LETTER TO MY FUTURE SELF
dear future kami
to be honest i can't tell where you'll be in the future so the first thing i want to make sure of, its that you're happy and healthy when you read this again. it feels like a jinx to say even if you aren't an idol but i even if you aren't, the most important thing is that you're happy and safe. i hope you've managed to find a new layer of courage no matter what you're doing. i hope you haven't limited yourself or given up on yourself. a year isn't a long time away but it's enough for everything to change.
when you read this again, i hope you've found even more goals to strive for in life. people shouldn't do be too idle, when they manage to accompish one thing, they should strive for the next. so i hope you've found more things to strive for. you've never been the type to give up, even if things take a little longer. i hope that no matter what challenges you've taken on, you have pride in yourself and those challenges. i want you to bravely say that you gave everything you could. and if you've failed at anything, i hope that you didn't give up, that you carried on. that you took it as a learning lesson and figured out what you needed to improve on.
when it comes to family, in this year…i don't know if it will happen but i hope you get along with your parents. a cousin from your mom's side got in contact with you. you heard some painful truths, that she's doing fine without you. they gave you her number so maybe you've had the courage to call but don't look down on yourself if you couldn't. things like that hard and she left first. it's the same with your dad. maybe they'll look back one day but you have to continue to move forward.
and when it comes to your career. maybe you've had your solo debut? or have you produced a full album for the group? maybe you've finally started working with other artist in and outside the company. either way, if you're still in the industry then i hope you've been doing everything you could to continue and achieve your dreams. maybe it would be too early to have a solo concert but if you managed, that is amazing.
i just want to say that even if no one else is by your side in the world. i'm proud of you and i'm here for you.
