That does seem to be the gist of the erasure theory, but I'm imagining now someone being like "Oh yeah my quirk basically messes with other people's quirks, boosted but specified. Also when I snap I can make people smell grilled cheese sandwiches for some reason, who knows why."

Very true! Then the temple probably WOULD be a bit different! I’ll definitely have to brainstorm some designs for that

question for everyone how much research has been done about fusion other than fusion just being a thing that happens?

Yellow D: Me mostly blue was too emotionally attatched and White... didn’t know. Anyway, most gems were unable to form an attatchment capable of fusion due to they’re lack of- *notices Domina’s side eye* due to the pressure they under to succeed. 

Yellow D: Of course I was eventually... encouraged to let the matter drop, the test subjects were shattered and any information we did gather  was rolled into the gem shard experiments. Fusion continues to be an imprecise science and the amount of strain it puts on gem society as a whole keeps us from studying it.

do you think it would look good if homestuck troll skin very mildly tinted towards their blood colour as they grew up?

Honestly, I really like that in homestuck artists where the skin just has this sort of soft hint of their color. IT is -chef kiss- Delicious and I haven’t figured out how to do it myself yet.

for the movie thing while probably not the first it's the first I can remember but it was inside out with the fact that anyone can be depressed and you don't have to be happy all the time

Inside out really said ‘it’s okay to not be okay’ and I think it’s immaculate for doing so.

with the inverted pantheon has anyone including mortals ever tried to resurrect Delor's child?

sadly, no. No one has attempted to ressurect them; mainly because none of the pantheon aside from Serfino and Delor themself knows where the child is buried.

(which they buried on the mortal plane under a tree that actually lies on the property of a mortal family’s farm. Delor and Serfino briefly stayed with them while in the mortal diguises and the family earned both their favor for being compassionate in such a time and showing such generosity and kindness. The family patriarch at the time along with his sons helped dig the hole and the mother let Delor and Serfino stay the night and offered understanding and compassion towards Delor-which they rarely receive from anyone)

The entire area where the grave is covered in a protective magic that includes the farm that repels evil intentions-i.e. a nasty awful person cannot enter the premises which prevents ill hearted necromancers from getting anywhere near the grave. The magic has actually protected the family for generations from attacks and most people who reside in the near by town know that if there’s danger or if you’re in trouble, just making it to the property itself will ensure your safety. The box that the child was placed in also has a magical lock on it that only Delor knows how to open-made of their own design. Whoever opens the box that isn’t Delor will receive a horrendous curse as punishment.

Although Delor greatly misses their child, they know that resurrecting them in the body they were born with would not be kind-their body just wasn’t capable of sustaining life and to ressurect them would be cruel.
