Jade in some cases (depends on comfort of roleplay partner) has Schizophrenia, or at least  Schizoaffective disorder. She experiences Auditory and Visual hallucinations centered around mostly around her toy ‘Griff.’

In main verse, this is because of the repeated social isolation her father put her through, lengths of time she was isolated increasing each time she was 'punished’ in this manner, causing greater and greater amounts of stress each time.

In modern verse it’s currently undecided, (either complications during birth, hereditary, or in some versions of modern verse, early loss of a parent). Jade is currently on medication for it and is supported by her family.

Important note: I researched schizophrenia thoroughly before deciding on this, reading multiple trusted sources and reading up on as many articles as I could find to do my best not to offend anyone. I will not force this on anyone in any roleplay and will always ask consent of my partner first.
