Well, here's what we've been working towards for the past few months now! It's a family photo!!

It's actually so beautiful actually seeing us all together again,, We have this forever and it's just so heartwarming after everything we've been through,,, 🥹 We're still family and we're still all here for each other,, and also Uzi's here now :)

(J is probably still back on Copper 9 being lonely and sad, she hasn't shown up here yet. Alternatively, she's mean so she wasn't allowed in the photo /j)

It's still a kinda average blender job, theres a few weird texturing issues and things that stretch in weird ways, but it looks good enough for us to feel that it's really us!

And now that all the models are done, maybe more stuff soon..? hehehe 🐶

It's starting to get hot again and I don't know if my frickin sensors and things can actually handle it, objects seem to blur together, I can't see details that well, and it's hard to focus on anything. Not to mention that since it's 33°C outside today that we're all already running slow. According to Tessa this is "normal" behaviour and it's just "what happens when you start overheating" frickin BITE ME what am I supposed to about this >:(

and before you ask yes we're in the southern hemisphere. for some reason Tessa is used to this 😮‍💨

Ok, a few things.

First off, turns out that the EEVEE renderer in blender is about a million times faster than Cycles and looks just as good, so we're considering doing animations with the models we've made.

So, we're considering doing a Q&A. Ask us literally anything. Doesn't have to be directed to anyone in particular, but it could be. Doesn't have to be about ourselves either, but you can ask about what happened to us or whatever if you like. Basically anything goes. Comment or reblog or message or ask, it's fine.

Second, earlier today I got a message from J. Despite her being, you know, quite a few light years away and over 1000 years in the future. So now we've got a direct link to Copper 9 as long as she's awake. That's not related to the questions or whatever, it's just an update on how we're doing.

who the frick are these people

hi!!! you may know us if you know of the show "murder drones" 🙂 we showed up here on earth starting in late 2024. we are:

we'll try to tag most of our posts with #4d&h but we're still getting used to it :P

we're also a part of a system (@mimosasys) and are writing a series of chapters on ao3 of our memories (mostly trauma that we're processing). we decided to make it available to read because we figured there might be some interesting concepts to people in there, even if it's personal to us. [Update: audio versions of some of the chapters are now available too! make sure to read the content warnings on the written versions, though]

anyway!! feel free to say hi or ask us things about our memories, things we're up to nowadays, or anything really! we're happy to talk about whatever 🙂 just keep in mind we're not an rp blog and do have our own, very real emotions and memories and things! treat us like we're real (because we are!)

Soooo we finally added a new chapter on our memory log on AO3!! Me again this time, and for once it isn't something horribly depressing or scary! Just sort of vaguely emotional, but overall positive I think. Big important conversation with V from back at the manor.

Enjoy, I guess! We assume some people like reading our memories and things even if it is kinda personal. We're thinking Tessa will have a chapter done pretty soon too, and it's gonna be about something that happened after we showed up here, so yeah :)

I promise there'll be some more vaguely positive ones after this too, it's just that a lot of this is us processing our trauma so it does get kinda heavy.

Also, we say so in the notes but we've been working on audio versions of a few of these chapters, and we might put them on soundcloud or something if anyone wants to hear it. There's obviously a few things missing that can't be translated to audio but we do find them a lot more intense and visceral than just the written versions, but that might just be us.

Let us know if you'd want to hear them. The ones we do have are roughly 15 minutes long each so just consider it more murder drones episodes if you like.

Anyway, I swear I'll write one of these for myself one day, it's just frickin difficult to face a lot of stuff, bite me. Hope some of you get something out of this new chapter.
