It's hard not to get fired up whenever Karen Law talks about her & PCR's work for #ReproJustice & Abortion Access #4EachOfUs in MN (at Edina Country Club)
"A right in theory is not a right at all, unless we all join together & demand that our rights are carried out."
Jessica Williams is RIGHT! That's why we're united with organizations & advocates across the country to lift harmful abortion coverage bans, such as the Hyde Amendment, that push safe & affordable care out of reach.
Millennials are passionate about ending abortion stigma and restoring coverage. People of color are spreading the word in our communities about why we need to make the Hyde Amendment history. Even Presidential candidates are talking about this issue as never before.
“The good news is, the American people are ready to #BeBoldEndHyde, and support from policymakers is growing every day. A majority of voters support a bill that would require Medicaid to cover all pregnancy-related care, including abortion. To date, 118 members of Congress have signed on to support the EACH Woman Act, which is almost unheard of for new legislation.”

Today is the 39th anniversary of the passage of the Hyde Amendment. This policy denies federal insurance coverage of abortion, hurting women enrolled in Medicaid and other public health care. Without the ability to afford it, the right to abortion is meaningless. We believe that no one should have to sacrifice her health or wellbeing, or that of her family, to decide whether to become a parent. That's why we're all in to #BeBoldEndHyde and lift all the bans that deny abortion coverage!
