okayyy yay i'll finally share this hehehehee
so uh for the longest time I've been like... I'd love to make a game but I don't have an idea that makes me motivated enough so I guess I'm not making a game.
and on the other hand I had a story I've written that was like, super character driven and 100k words in I no longer really vibed with what I had and totally lost the plot as they say but always wanted to repurpose the characters and connections I'd created with it.
and for honestly a few years now i'd been thinking well, i like murder mysteries, i like the game Clue, maybe something with that... and I didn't really have ideas how to get it there, though there's a rich asshole that dies early on... and you know the interesting problem of having characters with lots of lore but not really a plot anymore...
...and then well, i got into detective conan. and realized oh the things i have would be great for a click and point murder mystery game. and joked at dips like "do i make a detective character for it or do i just make it a conan fangame bc honestly i could mash both casts really really well" and ofc she said "cone cone cone" so here we are;
I really really like the idea of playing around with things the series can never get into in the context of you can fuck up and get found out and get a bad end if you slip and let it known you're not actually a kid. because the horror of being a small child again with no credibility are some of my favourite moments of detective conan.
4fe is the story I had the cast in, so of course 4fe game is its placeholder name and more of the same, but this time from my work computer and not quite hit the vibe I wanted as well... I can't remember if I made these first or second, it was probably like the same week;
anddd you can have a bonus character revamp, though I think his hair still needs a bit of work for him to feel like the same character to me
ANYWAY I've been sitting on these concepts for quite a while now and still want to make this game SO...!!! yayyy~!
