New Delhi, Nov 10 (IANS) The Department of Telecom’s (DoT) plans to hold the spectrum auction before the fiscal has not been put off and discussions are on to cut the auction prices to make it affordable for telecom companies, according to official sources.

नई दिल्ली। देश की सबसे बड़ी दूरसंचार कंपनी भारतीय एयरटेल ने 3500 करोड़ रुपए में इसी क्षेत्र की कंपनी एयरसेल से 8 सर्किलों में 20 मेगाहर्ट्ज 2300 बैंड 4जी स्पेक्ट्रम के उपयोग का अधिकार खरीदने के लिए अंतिम सौदा किया है। एयरटेल ने शुक्रवार को बताया कि गुरुवार को सौदे पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए। इसके साथ ही उसके 4जी नेटवर्क का विस्तार पूरे देश में हो जाएगा।
