SOCIAL DISTANCING DAY 528. Pivotal moment in this young fellow’s life. After yesterday’s emerging cicada photos, when I mentioned that I’d been 4-H grand champion for two years, it turned out @go4gushy was unaware of my reign. So I dug up this picture—look at that moment my photojournalist Mom caught: my blood is flooding with dopamine as I process that I had gotten the purple ribbon for my bugs.
