When my messy footage got a 4K makeover
Left: fuzzy, compressed, motion stutters.
Right: crisp clarity, smooth motion, details I didn’t realise were there (leaves on trees, fabric texture, even my hair strands).
What’s wild is how the tool handled everything: denoising, deblurring, upscaling to 4K, and even smoothing out motion in footage that used to feel jerky. And I didn’t need to be an editing whizjust drag in the file, pick a model (they’ve got options for “detail heavy”, “low light rescue”, etc.), and sit back while it does its thing.
The difference is wild. What was once “archives I’ll maybe share later” turned into “hey, this actually looks publishable”. If you’ve got footage that’s… less than ideal (old camcorder, phone in bad light, downloaded clips) and you’re too ugh to re-film everything—this is the kind of glow-up it needs.
I’m not saying it’s magic, but my memories went from “kind of blurry and okay” to “wow, did I actually film that?” And honestly, having that little side-by-side tease (original vs enhanced) made me actually excited to revisit old uploads.
