Oh, I guess that makes sense. I thought ghosts like iced daiqueeries with a dash of boo-berry.
you're absolutely fright! I should have said "what's one of a ghost's favorite drinks?"
So you're a composer? What kind of style do you compose in?
Thanks for the question! It’s one I get often when I meet people and one I for which I wish I had a better answer. I’m always tempted to say: “super-wonderful/exciting/amazing/creative music that everyone should listen to!” or “I compose the music the people need, not the music they want to hear (or deserve)!” But really the short answer is that I compose ‘contemporary classical.’ That label of course could include everything from John Cage indeterminacy to Steve Reich minimalism, from the New Complexity to the New Simplicity. In my own style I have always tried for a synthesis of different elements from many periods and influences, taking various techniques to meet my expressive needs. It really depends on the composition, so if you’re interested I hope you’ll check out some of the links on my homepage, including my soundcloud. I have two albums out also, one of semi-improvised prepared piano (Map of Trees) and one of electronic music made of sounds sampled in Russia (Karelian Soundscapes), both of which are for sale online at the retailer of your choice (but if you’re going to buy it go CD Baby).
