Whoo! Made it though the day. I am pretty proud of myself. As an introvert who needs her alone time this has been challenging! So many people all wanting attention. So many conversations and people doing things and bleh. I can handle one party/ get together but two in one day was a lot! But at least no one was that bad to me. Oh except that one lady who thought she had the right to grab my hair tug on it and then say she wants to cut it. Like who does that? I know that she "knows" me, but I know like 5 people who I would be fine with just randomly touching me and she isn't one of them.
People get weird when you don't obey the binary. Even though I don't consider myself a non binary person I'm just at a phase where I'm kind of andro leaning feminine and to people on the outside it looks non binary. Although I don't think they have ever given any thought to gender and so they probably can't comprehend it other than "that looks different and scary to me." I kinda get it though. Cis people usually don't ever think about gender. If gender isn't an issue for a person they never have to think about it. But its like they think they have to do things to point me back in the "right direction" and let me know I'm not "normal" aka cis. Even if it is subconscious on their part its still messed up and I need to learn to not give people free passes just because they are undereducated on the issue. Anyways overall I did it ^_^ And it was exhausting but I came through. And now I can sleep...... if I can stop scrolling through tumblr which is another battle altogether!
