You think after learning about the shitfuck arsenal the payday gang has, the FBI would start requesting the army already.

Ik about no mercy and GO bank but most of the missions is just cops.

Murkywater is a mercenary group and probably the CLOSEST we can get to an army-esque enemy.

Still dont know why they can get to guard the white house but eh

They sent the marines once. But because marines have a diet of mostly glue and crayons the gang was able to beat them like plucky and scrappy orphaned main characters.

They asked for the Army, but it got lost in paper work like everything else.

Coast Guard and Navy were BusyTm (Dealing with civis probably)

The entirety of the national guard was too busy looking for the missing the president because he's never around when you need him.

And the Air Force was too busy bombing the middle east.

And as for what's up with Murkywater, well it's quite simple. Like every military that's not the US the CIA still funds them.

Oliver sat quietly, driving his black Audi through the streets of Denver. He wasn’t sure what to say to his sister who sat beside him. His fingers tapped on the steering wheel to the beat of the music that was playing in the background. He turned down a street towards the hotel where their father was staying, and finally pulled into the carpark outside. They were very early for lunch, and at the complete wrong place for it but Oliver thought it was a good idea to surprise their father, Harley. He’d offered to meet them at the restaurant across town, but what he didn’t know was that for Oliver and Riss to get there, they had to pass the hotel. “It just makes more sense to pick him. Dad’s just being stubborn and not wanting to put us out by stopping here for him.” He shrugged his shoulders. Oliver took the keys from the ignition and stepped out of the car, walking around to Marissa. He placed a hand on both shoulders, and bent down slightly. “We walk through that door, have a cup of tea or coffee in there to test the waters. And, if you’re uncomfortable, I’ll drive you home myself. You got this, Riss, and I’m so happy that you’re here.” He smiled sincerely at her, then looked to the door of the hotel, then back to her. “But, if you want to bail right now, I won’t be mad.”

Hope Someday || Toni&Lakyn

To have a day off from both her jobs was a miracle in itself. Toni had been so busy with her jobs and focusing less and less on the partying and her normal ways. Of course her confidence lately had been shot. What people saw in Toni was this confident, spunky, adventurous person who would flirt with anyone. That’s what she projected to people and lately that wasn’t the case. It was getting harder and harder for that confidence to stay up when it felt like it was a stab at her. Every time someone would turn her down. Of course Toni was also selfish, she didn’t proceed to think or care about the other’s perspective or why they shut her down. It was just that to her, that she was shut down. It made her try too hard and soon it was turning into desperate attempts and more so she was locking herself away. Toni would rather spend time in her apartment verses going out to the clubs like she normally did and picking up people. 

It was hard to collect and even think about it when she also didn’t let people in. Even with this rock hard exterior, there laid a girl. A damaged girl who grew up in Tennessee by a loving family. Someone who could only speak up when the music spoke to her. So maybe that’s why she was at her friend’s studio today. Even if they were gone at the moment, she was happy to get some time alone and better than that. They had all the instruments and speakers for her to mess with that maybe it would help her? She didn’t want to go back to that depression like she did years ago but at the same time, Toni wasn’t sure what to do to get out of this funk. Even sleeping with Leo didn’t seem to help because those insecurities were playing against her with that aspect as well. 

With a heavy sigh she was at the piano, her head propped up by her hand and the other hand playing with the keys. Moving in a mindless pattern. Even with the time alone, she couldn’t find a way to bring her spirits up. She didn’t know anyone was coming in and she thought she had the space for the next couple of hours to herself but she was wrong. @murkywaters
