The Post is incredibly well-done, satisfying, a complete political standout. Based on the true story of the published Pentagon Papers, The Post delivers an extraordinary inside of the committed journalists who fought for the truth and freedom of speech. I came out very satisfying with this film, I truly believe this film wouldnât have worked without the direction of Steven Spielberg, even though I donât think is his best film, you could see it has that Spielbergâs touch to make it a fascinating film. Adding Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks was a plus, theyâre impeccable with their characters; top performances from both actors makes me think: I could watch about just anything with Streep and Hanks together; definitely the best of the best. The Post offers great cinematography, detailed shots of printing machinery, pressing papers, a total scenery of what goes inside of the newspaper business, something that caught me by surprise. I repeat and genuinely know that Spielbergsâs direction is the reason why this movie works, and why he is still the greatest director of all times. My rate for The Post is 8/10 for an impeccable, excellent, newspaper film. Now that The Post has a wide release, will you go see this film? #ThePost #Film #Movie #Review #Political #Thriller #Mystery #Drama #Suspense #Director #StevenSpielberg #Actors #MerylStreep #TomHanks #SarahPaulson #BobOdenkirk #TracyLetts #BradleyWhitford #BruceGreenwood (at Amc Theathers)
Mollyâs Game is intriguing, entertaining, a very driven film. I walked into this movie not knowing a thing about former entrepreneur Molly Bloom; a film were explores her struggle and also her way of the underground of poker. Jessica Chastain does a phenomenal job portraying Jessica Chastain, I believe she was the perfect cast along side Idris Elba as Mollyâs lawyer; they really have this connection of owning these characters and showing great acting performances. As a huge fan of writer Aaron Sorkis, this is directorial debut, and as always he does not disappoint at all. As a poker fan myself, this film goes way beyond the underground world of poker, from inserting the Russian mafia, Italian mafia, celebrities and mostly athletes, it becomes a very driven story but mostly keeps you entertaining. I really got a kick out of this film, not only for her true story venture in the world of poker, but mostly showing how ambitious you could be when youâre all driven by it. My rating for Mollyâs Game is 7.7/10 a very compelled, impressive and biopic story of Molly Bloom. #MollysGame #Film #Movie #Review #Crime #Drama #Director #AaronSorkis #Actors #JessicaChastain #IdrisElba #KevinCostner #MichaelCera #BrianDArcyJames #JeremyStrong #ChrisODowd (at Amc Theathers)

The Shape Of Water is visually gorgeous, an absorbing loving story, and an mesmerizing film. Guillermo Del Toro is back, and for good, The Shape Of Water captivates you from start to finish with an amazing narrative story. The tone of the movie is what I felt in love with, it is set in the 60âs, charming storyline, and full of beautiful scenes. Michael Shannon and Sally Hawkins stood out for me with the best performances, Shannon playing the villain or bad of the movie if you will, he does an excellent job, couldnât have done it better, and Hawkins for an incredible performance of her mute character, really touching and brilliant; we probably hear from her nominations soon enough. Guillermo Del Toro does what he does best, and thatâs bringing life to these creatures, in this case an amphibian man character in this film; it almost reminded of Panâs Labyrinth one of his greatest films, and The Shape Of Water is very likely to be high at the top of the list. I completely felt touched by these characters, their connection was just so unlikely beautiful that it is impossible to not fall in love with them, I called it a poetry piece of a film. My rating is 8.9/10 for The Shape Of Water, a creative, stunningly and mesmerizing film. The Shape Of Water opened today in theaters, will you be watching it? Stay tuned for my Best/Worst Top 10 List of 2017 on my next post. #TheShapeOfWater #Film #Movie #Review #Fantasy #Drama #Actors #SallyHawkins #MichaelShannon #RichardJenkins #DougJones #MichaelStuhlbarg #OctaviaSpencer (at AMC Movie Theater At Sunset Place)
The Disaster Artist is surprisingly funny, inspirational and deeply humorous. This film is based on a true story about the worst film ever made âThe Roomâ by Tommy Wiseau. In reality this a film about the making of another film, and it is freaking hilarious. James Franco does an magnificent job portraying Tommy Wiseau, from his acting, his voice, makeup, the whole thing! He embodies this character like I have never seen him before in other roles, acting chops are phenomenal, it would be a shame if this movie or him wouldnât get nominated, just the perfect casting. James Franco directed this film as well, he captures the struggle of Tommyâs big dream of making as an actor or director in Hollywood, and after all he did made his movie and achieved his dream, which I think that was the most important story about this film. Definitely best comedy of the year, it is Oscar-worthy of a nomination, a great adaption of the book, and such an fantastic cast. I really felt in love with this movie, so many comedy elements you just have to laugh it out loud non-stop. My rating for this film is 8.5/10 a must watch, entertained film, a greatness of a film. Are you interested in watching The Disaster Artist? Tomorrow I will be posting my Top 10 Best & Worst Films of 2017, Iâll probably be squeezing The Disaster Artist on my list, this movie definitely did it for me. #TheDisasterArtist #Film #Movie #Review #Comedy #Drama #Actors #JamesFranco #DaveFranco #SethRogen #JoshHutcherson #AlisonBrie #ZacEfron #KateUpton #AriGraynor (at AMC Movie Theater At Sunset Place)

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is amazing, amazing, and one more time amazing! The Last Jedi is another chapter of the Star Wars franchise and it serves itâs purpose. Choosing director Rian Johnson at first seemed like a risk, but a risk that was worth it, he takes this franchise to a whole new level, and proved me wrong this whole time. Visual effects are off the chart, no surprise for a Star Wars film, but there are some moments that you just are stunned, and jaw dropping sequences. Eventually, I found this movie funny, I thought it had a good humor, you might catch some jokey lines over here and there that donât really belong there, but it does not take out of the movie; really surprising to me because this movie felt like it had a dark tone. We see the best portray of Luke in this film, really explores all the rest of the characters, including the new ones. Some revealing moments are just amazing and stunning. I did had a bit of trouble with its villain, but being part of the storytelling makes you understand it. Overall, this is just a spectacular film, it is definitely high top ranking in the Star Wars saga; if it is the best Star Wars movie or not is the real debate; I will watch it again to really make sure. I really loved and enjoyed The Last Jedi, I believe fans are going to be really happy with this film, especially the Star Wars fans! I will rate 9.5/10 for Star Wars: The Last Jedi a triumph, masterpiece, worthy Star Wars film! Please stay off the spoilers, donât visit some sites that are full of spoilers in their reviews. Also, it was heartbreaking seeing Carrie Fisher portraying Princess Leia one last time, she has the most amazing moments in this film †Star Wars premiered tonight, will you be watching it tomorrow on opening day? #StarWarsTheLastJedi #Film #Movie #Action #Adventure #Fantasy #Director #RianJohnson #Actors #MarkHamill #CarrieFisher #AdamDrive #DaisyRidley #JohnBoyega #OscarIsaac #AndySerkis #LupitaNyongo #DomhnallGleeson #LauraDern #BenicioDelToro #KellyMarieTran #Review #StarWarsFan (at Amc Theathers)
