Juneau does the 4th a little differently. Because it doesn't get dark until after midnight, the 4th is celebrated on the 3rd. Fireworks off the barge in the channel, all taken from my living-room. The video doesn't do the sound justice; it's super loud and echoes down the channel as it bounces off the mountains. And you can't see it, but my view Mt. Juneau and Mt. Roberts were still backlit by the setting sun. It was spectacular. Happy 4th from Alaska.
