sorry for late response i had day stuff and have to sleep at night so i had very little free time this week
This is gonna be a LONG one
this is not organized at all becuase i just type stuff as it comes to mind
SO.
I want to start of with how the whole reproduction thing actually works in the au
There are two ways algebraliens can reproduce:
(this is what Four and X say happened) When two algebraliens get close enough (emotionally) and are subconsciously ready, they may fuse together without any math symbols. they can turn into either their values added or multiplied, and when they unfuse the algebralien they formed will be formed, and a child
(this is what four and x ACTUALLY did) as the first option requires a little luck and a lot of patience, there is another, easier way, though it can be more painful, and depends more on what the algebralien is made of. both parties take a small chunk of their body and mix them together somehow (blender, whisk, whatever) and let the mixture sit somewhere safe. gets the same results as the first option.
ok cool now to focus more on 28 and 4x and stuff
28 exists solely because i was bored and made the algebraliens in tomadachi life, 4 and x got married in 3 days because 1 set them up (no, i'm not kidding), and they took 2 months to actually have a child which let me think about what i wanted them to be like and where i got the idea to make it an au
The whole idea of the au is "what if 28 was canon but you just never saw them because they're a secret"
spoiler alert: after tpot 15 i stray more from canon (not in any mojor ways)
They were "born" sometime between tpot 7 and 8 via blender
clock witnessed this firsthand and was very confused

Age: almost 2!
Pronouns: They/Any (yes that includes neopronouns they are a BABY they DONT CARE)
They're Chaotic Neutral
i have no idea why 4x kept 28 a secret but they did, so nobody but the contestants who worked in the kitchen (and 2) knew about them until the contestants started spending more time in the hotel, which i'd say is after tpot 15.
two figured out about 28 when gaty asked if they knew about them after this comic (they did not know and went to ask 4 and x about it immediately)
icy, fanny, tb, and gb learn about them from spending so much time in the hotel. 28 walked in on them speculating multiple times, much to their confusion. they still arent 100% sure why they're here (4x wont tell them and 2 is... yk)
bh saw 28 during tpot 16 when he tried to hide in the kitchen and asked dpya if any of them knew who they were after the challenge (fanny explained that they're just some kid bc thats what she knows) so that whole team knows now
28 was messing with some of yf and taggys stuff that they stored in the hotel and eventually was caught in the act
so around half the remaining contestants know about 28 by now
Don't you hate it when your secret child is no longer a secret
28 saw clock as a sibling figure and gaty as an aunt figure because they immediately assume anyone working in the kitchen is family 🥹
because theyre a baby they refer to people as babyy nicknames uh
four is "baba" x is "wawa" two is "titi" clock is "caw" and gaty is "gade" (pronounced like gate but they struggle to pronounce t sometimes)
they have powers! four and x do their best to make sure they know how to use them so they dont get hurt or seriously damage something

they have watched the entirety of bfdi - bfb and occasionally watch tpot but mainly through the window since its just. right there.
Their favorite contestants are Leafy (shes green, like them! and nice too!) and Clock (for obvious reasons). their favorite season is bfb because their parents hosted and they thought it was the coolest thing ever
four was.. not pleased to see that 28 likes two almost as much as their parents, but theyre a baby what're you gonna do
also two became the main target for their pranks and more aggressive affection (love bites, but they don't know that it hurts people yet) so it balances out
during tpot 15 in this au i like to imagine that an older version of them is one of the broken timeline hosts. idk i think itd be funny
both 4 and x can somehow understand their babble so they just assume everyone can and get frustrated when people don't know what they're saying
they have autism because i refuse to make anything 4x related without any neurodivergency
one currently has no opinion on them and ignores them most of the time
