POST TPOT AU: GARNET

As it turns out, I'm not good at drawing shiny minerals

Lore: Garnet has, apparently, become a cosplayer of the Garnet from Steven Universe. However, she cannot really be considered one since the only thing she wears to cosplay her hero is a pair of purple sunglasses. Don’t tell her this, though, since she will probably start crying if you say that to her and then she’ll shove you into the lava pit inside the Bughive that she and her siblings live in. She attempted to do this to MePhone4 at some point, though she failed as she was pulled away from him by Feldspar and was then sent to the Calm Down Pitcher Plant Chamber (a chamber full of pitcher plants where you must sit and reflect on your misdeeds). Garnet, shockingly, was the one who trekked out into the forest to help Ruby find Pencil after seeing the broadcast of TPOT 21 on TV. She faced her fears, even though she knew what she was putting at risk, all for Freesmart. Attagirl.

POST TPOT AU: FLUORITE

She and Candle from Inanimate Insanity probably get along quite well

Lore: Fluorite is the zen master, her prowess having increased long before TPOT and sometime during BFB. Along with levitation, she can now move objects with her mind and is able to basically use the Force. She can also now breathe underwater due to gaining axolotl-like gills from the enhancement incident. These are the only parts of her that retain her peachish coloring, as her body has changed to be mostly shades of teal. She has notably lost her murderous urges completely, choosing to instead opt for meditation and unlocking her “Inner Flame”, whatever that is. She says that it’s a thing that is of great importance to the world, and that it must be kept under control, lest the darkness will conquer the soul of the falling object and corrupt them into some form of monster that cannot be controlled or calmed easily.

Fluorite calls this supposed phenomenon the Twisting, since she says that the way it corrupts is to twist one’s mind and morals until there’s no empathy or compassion left. Just rage and hunger. It apparently, if it even exists, can only be reversed by a special stone called the Magenta Zen Crystal. It’s unclear if any of this (beyond the Inner Flame, anyways) is even real, though.
