Has it really been that long since we were friends? 3 years about?
Like I said, I don’t see my friends off when they leave; for the past 5 or 6 years its been like that. Tonight was pretty hard to see you off, your personal mission when you arrived to Hawaii from what you told me was to impact people’s lives and do things that are daring and super out there-- out of the comfort zone.
Nathan, thank you. You’ve impacted my life huge. You were a super loyal and devoted friend. You went above and beyond what it took to be that. You were there when I had that hard break up. You were there when I needed good company and you introduced me to such wonderful friends. Albeit these friends were older, they respected me regardless of my age and image.
What I’m getting at is: you were such a brother to me, man. I’m excited for your new life in the mainland! Its always awesome hearing your adventures, and this one will be a new one for you. I won’t be sad that you’re leaving after I’m done writing this, because like you said you wanted your friends to be happy that you’re going on a new pilgrimage. Thank you so much, and I hope you impact people’s lives up in Boston like you did mine. Go get em, bro.
