Today was awesome. I’ve met my old maths teacher and Japanese teacher [two different people]. I had ginger bread at a local crafts market that happens just once a year. I went to a tattoo competition, which was super cool. And I realised that nearly all inks used contain nickel which I’m allergic to. Bai bai tattoo plans.
I actually had an appointment today, we checked the colour which was supposed to be fine for an allergic reaction and I’m glad we did. Because that shit started to itch after 20min on my skin like hell. I don’t want to imagine it inside my skin. U.U
I’m very happy I asked about nickel beforehand. It was an idea I had today in the morning. To my knowledge tattoo ink should not contain heavy metals. Well. Apparently even a tiny bit is bad for me.
OhGott.

So this was my second time going to Stars On Ice as a new fan to the Tessa and Scott World, sorry the Figure Skating world.
There was no hesitation in buying tickets this year like there was last year. And I also bought 2 extra tickets for my Aunt and Uncle for Christmas because they’re my god parents and so hard to buy for.
Last minute changes my uncle didn’t want to come so my cousins girl friend did and bless her because she recorded both Tessa and Scott’s numbers because I needed to concentrate (because she has the iPhone 6 and I have the 5, the videos won’t play on my phone so she’s uploaded them to DropBox and I’ll try and get them posted tomorrow).
Because of circumstances, we were late and missed the opening number and made it in time to watch J Butt do Uptown the Funk.
All and all I think I liked this years Stars more then last years. More group numbers, which I enjoy. We were sitting fifth row from the bottom, directly center ice in front of the main entrance the skaters skate out onto the ice from - so epic seats.
No one fell on any jumps - which was awesome. There was one small ‘fall’ - right after the Quad were done and taking their bows, I guess Andrew put his foot in the wrong place and Kaitlyn sort of stepped on it and fell - it was actually funny, they were both laughing and you could tell Andrew felt bad because it was his fault.
How Will I Know was just...everything. So much god damn emotion! So many little moments, every time they met face to face they were right in each others faces. Just typically T&S connection moments. So beautiful but went by so fast. I took no videos or pictures because I couldn’t I needed to concentrate solely on them so I didn’t miss anything. Scott did the same thing as he did yesterday in Toronto, picked her up and spun her. Cute as always.
I really really loved the Good Kisser prelude with Hip Hip Chin Chin, I thought it was so good. Because the way it was set up I couldn’t see Scott who was on the other side of the ice. But no one is talking about the end of HHCC!!!! - right before the number ends, when Shawn reveals himself to be a boy in drag, T&S are standing right by the entrance just straight up in each others faces, flirting away (not putting filtering in quotes because its the god damn story of their lives - all they do is flirt). So I was just like looking around wondering how no one was reacting to what I was witnessing and how no one else caught it on camera from past shows (I also did not catch it on camera because iphones are GARBAGE at long range).
The Supertramp number - no surprise, everyone was confused. I don’t get it...a plane and J Butts the trolly and Shawn on stilts just so confused. Also what people aren’t saying is that a good chunk of the performance is all focused on Tessa and she is fucking stunning just acting her little heart out! (also did not get that on video). She killed it, she was just amazing.
I had a random moment of adding subtext to content that didn’t exist but there’s this wonderful 3 minute moment of Tessa with the Masked Men (Eric, Andrew and Chiddy) where she’s skating around them and falling on them and then trying to get them to go with her and its so beautiful and then at one moment they’re sort of tossing her or lifting her and then she gets to Eric, I think, and he’s supposed to put her in dance hold and Tessa actually shows him how to do it, which was part of the choreography, but it gave me these weird chills of how no one knows how to ‘hold’ Tessa right (see added subtext) except for Scott, so anyone else she has to ‘show’ but Scott just knows.
The rest of the number was fun, when she throws the water in his face. Right at the end they hug and then they do their classic high fave and Scott’s famous - let me rub my hands down Tessa’s arm and grab her hand just cause.
Brick House was fun - got a big applause. Straight up though Scott Moir was loving himself in those blue pleather pants lol. Seriously he was so into it, and so was the crowd. He also looks to be way more in shape, the white shirt he was wearing was super tight - he looked good.
The quad was cool, loved the four person death spiral. I’m not particularly moved by Kaitlyn and Andrew as performers, they’re very blah to me. Kaitlyn nor Andrew have that natural dance ability like T&S where they’re comfortable to free-style in a moment, Kaitlyn’s very awkward to me. But I really did love their Kissing You program, it was beautiful and it made me feel something.
Chiddy was on point - loved his first number. Ashely only had 1 program. Joannie was great too.
Videos should be up tomorrow, any questions ask away.
