503 Week is an annual celebration of the ship Edward Elric x Winry Rockbell from Fullmetal Alchemist! This year's week will last from May 1st to May 5th! During the event, there will be a double prompt every day to guide your fan creations! You're free to interpret them as you wish, whether that's by choosing one half or incorporating them both! This year's prompts are as follows:

503 week day one- Distance

Hello all!! This is my first time participating in 503 week and I'm absolutely so excited to share everything I've been working on for the last month!

This is a work inspired by CoS, I think originally it was gonna be more brotherhood coded as that's typically my default but something just felt right about this decision. Theres honestly so many things i would redo as I was making decisions on the fly with this one, like if i were to ever redraw this(which i might it was some of the funnest ive drawn in a bit) i would probably change Winrys hair to be more accurate to CoS Winry! But I like to believe this is post CoS and this Winry we are seeing is NOT the Winry we know from the previous world 👀

Anddd, another day down! Wow, this day really rugby tackled me out of my comfort zone. Don't really know where in the prompt "Ignite", I decided to draw an entire landscape. But, here we are 😅

I will say that the finished piece isn't my best work, but I've learned another skill. Knowing when to say "good enough". Eh, I haven't really learned the difference between pushing myself and being overly ambitious. Well, it was a learning curve anyway.
