#5073 The Veil Never More³ (USA) Just made it to Hampton, VA, for the last leg of the trip, and mate, I’m buggered. What a day. This is the 19th review today and I’m close to needing a beer break but this 5.3% triple fruited Gose from The Veil is gonna put me to bed. Blackberry purée drives this beer, so it basically looks like carbonated blackberry juice and tastes like it, too. It’s thick and viscous yet light and fluffy, mildly salty, juicy with wine-like tannins, fruity and sweet, with a tangy, almost tart finish. Bloody glorious.
