If you could pair up one female companion from Classic Who (aside from Sarah Jane or Romana) with one New Who Doctor, who would you choose and why?

there are so many good options here but i think i have to say victoria and 9, pre rose and post fury from the deep..

it’s literally about feeling like you have to bear this enormous burden of grief and not being able to put it down even though it’s so exhausting and harmful and draining..... 9 and victoria literally both went through this and i think they’d be able to help each other heal so much.. 

i’m just thinking about 2 and victoria’s convo in tomb of the cybermen where he says there’s so much besides grief out there for you because we get a life that no one else in the universe gets and we get to see incredible wonders and save countless lives and there IS more out there than grief..... i’m thinking about victoria giving that line back to 9.. that hits.. 

also they’d just be so cute.. 9 would go into full dad mode with her he’d like take her shopping, he’d remake the tardis piano room for her to practice in, he’d be so proud of her for whatever she does during adventures.. yeah..

What are your thoughts on the idea of reincarnation within the star wars universe? i feel it would fit pretty well considering we already have a Jesus figure.

Honestly, the only possible reason I could think of for why reincarnation couldn’t be a thing in the GFFA is that EVIDENTLY NO ONE IN THIS UNIVERSE EVER STAYS DEAD TO BEGIN WITH, so they wouldn’t be ABLE to be reincarnated. 😂 But setting that aside, absolutely I could see it.

Hi I'm currently learning ASL. Right now I'm enrolled in the online course through GALE but am about to finish it. I'd like to continue learning, and also improve on the signs I've already learned. I've downloaded some apps including "the asl app" and memrise as well to help me. Do you have any suggestions on good resources to improve ASL (keeping in mind I can't currently attend any in person classes). Thanks so much!

Usually, the best way to learn is to go to events and interact with Deaf people in person, but that’s not possible atm. However, lot of Deaf people regularly use videochat, so if you have any Deaf friends, I recommend hitting them up for a chat! There are also facebook and other groups. 

Good idea is also to watch videos in sign language, watch interpreted news, etc. 

I don’t use ASL so I don’t have any specific app or things like that to offer, I am afraid. Perhaps our followers do?

i think KNOW all the docs are sluts for rose tyler and i absolutely encourage people to create works with their fav doc and rose. billie piper confirmed this somewhere. rose marion tyler loves the doctor for whomstever they were or shall ever be. i cried when she stated thirteenrose would be a thing. because that ship screams soft gay fever dream. i'll admit i do have a bias for ninerose because chris and billie really smiled at each other and invented love. i'm sad that there's not much classicwhu docs x rose tyler fics because those fools would never stand a chance. she still tops. overall, it's rose and the doctor in the tardis as it should be.

I enjoy the fanart and creative works like au gifs and shitpost and stuff, because it’s fun, but that’s the extend of it, like I can like many different pairings and I respect them all but when it comes down to it I only ever truly ship pepperony

I suppose other universe Steve does have his appeal, but not the one in mcu, and I believe he would if chris has more say in it, but it kinda looks like he doesn’t, don’t know, I tried to like him, but no, can’t.

okay so how does the whole Digital World vs Witchelny work? Why is it monsters from Wilcheny can evolve into or from monsters in the Digital World? Does it mean their makeup is being changed as they evolve from one meant for witchelny to one meant for the digital world? I've heard that Wizardmon's rag doll form isn't his true form so is that because when he traveled to the digital world his makeup was changed to one suited for the digital world? (to be continued)

Are the digimon that Wizardmon can evolve into, or from, digimon that exist in both dimentions? I am so confused as to what the rules of this whole thing are... can there be Wizardmons born in the digital world who have been there their entire lives? Like if a Bakumon is born in the digital world, can he evolve into wizardmon? I have so many questions

The truth is, we don’t know a whole lot about Witchelny in canon. it has only been brought up and hinted at in supplementary materials like CD dramas and novelizations. Wizardmon states that he got a fake rag doll body, yeah, so I think that would imply that his state as “Wizardmon” is not his true form (which is why I believe he has a Witchelnian name).

I don’t know if his evolutionary forms are present in both worlds, but my personal theory is that the “Wizardmon” species originated from him when he entered the Digital World, so the “Wizardmon” species are Digimon, along with the rest of his evolutionary tree - other Digimon can evolve into and from a Wizardmon - but HE is the only Wizardmon that originated from Witchelny. As a result, his other evolved forms are not Witchelnian but Digital in nature and origin. It’s almost as if when his makeup changed from something more organic/magical to something digital, he created a new “entry” in the overall system that conducts the Digital World, which automatically connected him to other compatible evolutionary forms. Does that make sense?

Of course, it’s all a theory... But basically I think that Witchelnian monsters can adapt themselves to the rules of the Digital World by deliberately taking on a digital form. Other than that, you can take all the creative liberties you like, seeing as canon has not thoroughly explored or explained the concept of Witchelny.

You are so good at analyzing the characters and their journeys! So, I'm curious, if the 3 main characters from Tamers were to hold crests the way the Original Chosen from Adventure did, which crests do you think they'd be given (does not have to be an existing crest, I encourage new crests meant specifically for these kids).

Takato: The Crest of Kinship (or Blood); Within the same sort of idea as Friendship, Takato draws his purest strength from the familial bonds he forges with the people around him.

Jianliang: The Crest of Temperence; I imagine that the pictograph would be evocative of the yin-yang symbol.

Ruki: ....Okay. I sat and thought about this for a really long time, pored over more than a few thesaurus pages trying to find something, all the while knowing that the answer was staring me right in the face and I just didn’t want to face up to it: The Crest of Love. Based on my interpretation of the character, nothing else even comes close to making sense.
