yknow it’s all just noise at this point but isn’t it interesting how for weeks all the insiders and hockey writers were yapping about how murph’s agent would/should wait for clarity on the nursey trade before seriously negotiating a contract. and just last week we were at ‘player open to returning / talks ongoing.’ and now dicky signs for five years and less than 8 hours later the word on the street was ‘in the next day or two’ and then 24 hours later an identical murph contract with an identical nmc drops. like…..much to think about.
