damn y’all. there’s a reason this is called a challenge. how can you pick just one?
after much thought i have settled on this gem:
the buildup in the first minute reminds me of the incredible work mr. zimmer did on the dark knight trilogy.
at this point in inception - even if you were so confused by the plot the entire time - you understand the need for the team to get out. you understand they’re three levels deep, you understand they need to wake up, you understand that this has to be a success for cobb to see his kids again. and the 528491 track drives you to the edge of your seat.
not only is fischer ACTUALLY INCEPTED (*gasp* it worked!!!!!!) but eames WITNESSES IT
meanwhile arthur is crouched in the corner of an elevator hoping to god his improvised kick works and that his boyfriend eames opens his eyes and that it coincides with the van hitting the water and IT’S ALL JUST SO THRILLING
