Happy Epiphany Day! My first cake of the new year is a king cake! Celebrating the end of Christmas. I'm not religious but i celebrate all food holidays! My king cake is the french version Galette des Rois. It's a almond filling sandwich between 2 sheets of puff pastries. Half of my filling leaked out so my cake lost a lot of volume. But it was still a pretty and tasty pastry. One cake down and 51 one more to go.
