Gina do you think that the song ‘5280 miles’ is AI? ‘Cause I saw that the song written and registered by Harry (and unreleased) is called ‘5378 miles’. I also remember seeing a screenshot of that song listed as registered by Harry Styles named like that (5378 miles) at that time, before the song was posted on the internet.

I don’t know, the song sounds real but I don’t understand why the title is different. Also sorry, I don’t recall where i’ve seen that screenshot.

Yeah, I remember that, as well. But no, I don’t think it’s AI at all. My guess would be that there were two songs. Or the one we heard wasn’t the final version and the song was changed by the time he registered it.

I always liked this theory about 5378 miles.

And, as 5280 miles (the song) seems to be very much about Anne and being away from her, I’d say the number is related to the distance between where H was when he wrote it and where Anne lives.

Do you have a post about Something I've been Waiting For?

Something I’ve been waiting for’s lyrics don’t give much away, but it’s history sure does. It is co-written with snow patrol:

Gary Lightbody who in 2012 wrote The Last time with Taylor and Something Great with Harry at the same time, and

John McDaid who met his partner Courtney Cox when Ed, who was living with her and just off the Red tour invited Taylor, Harry and Snow Patrol over to Courtney's house 18 November 2013, which courtney has given lots of Haylor crumbs for over the years.

When Harry was going solo John told a lot of outlets that Harry had been writing for years and was a great songwriter. None of their collaborations have been released, but it is a good portion of Harry's leaks, which were all registered the same day, on ASCAP on December 30th, 2015. They weren't written anytime near then though, Harry was off on Yachtgate getting signed to the Azoffs the day they were registered. I think they were the songs he was holding onto waiting to get clear of the band. Many (not all) leaked in the last 2 years icnduing this one on March 27th, 2023.

I would say they were written 2012 - 2013 when Harry was hanging out with them.

OK WHAT THE FUCK this is the closest. THEN I remembered Harry had a house in Malibu which is farther from the center of LA...

WHATEVER YOU DO DON’T IMAGINE HOW EXACT ADDRESSES COULD PLAY INTO IT SINCE THESE ARE JUST GENERAL AREAS

Anyway I’m not saying the song is about the distance between Harry & Louis when they’re not together...but it definitely is...
